On Saturday, the 3rd of August 2013 at approximately 05:00 a.m., while on patrol, Constable Durocher of the Hawkesbury OPP, observed a 2006 silver Hyundai Elantra from Quebec that was travelling south on McGill Street in the Town of Hawkesbury, the vehicles license plate light was burnt. The vehicle as stopped and after an interaction with the driver the officer had grounds to believe that the driver had blood alcohol content over the legal limit, which lead to his arrest.
Joey AGOSTINUCCI (36yrs) of East Hawkesbury Township was charged with the following:
