IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER ATV COLLISION

(ADELAIDE-METCALFE, ON) On Saturday October 19, 2013 at 11:51 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single vehicle collision, involving an ATV on the 2800 block of Mullifary Drive. During the course of the investigation police soon discovered that the driver had been drinking. The injured male was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was arrested for impaired driving.

As a result of an investigation police have charged Christopher KLINKER, age 37 of Strathroy-Caradoc with:

Driving While Ability Impaired as per Section 253(1)(a) of the CC
Fail or Refuse to Provide Sample 254(5) CC
Driving while Disqualified 259(4)(a) CC
Drive motor vehicle not equipped with an approved ignition interlock device while prohibited from doing so as per section 41.2(13) HTA

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to appear in a London court room on November 28, 2013 to speak to the charges.
