Homeowner Scares Off Burglars

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Members of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to attend a residential break and enter on June 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

OPP investigators attended the Windsor Drive residence in St George and found that unknown suspect(s) broke into the residence through a window at approximately 6:30 a.m. on June 5, 2016.

Once inside the residence the thieves were scared off by a resident and fled through the front door.

The OPP would like to remind the public that as warm weather approaches and we have our windows open please secure them so people cannot enter through them.

The OPP County of Brant Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
