(ARMOUR TWP) Police are investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday September 1, 2013 at approximately 8:00p.m on Pickeral and Jack Lake Road, Armour Township.
A 2003 Acura sports utility vehicle was travelling on Pickeral Jack and Lake road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.
Police attended the collision along with Burk’s Falls Fire Department and Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services. The driver registered a warn reading and his driver’s license was suspended for three days. A female passenger was taken to Huntsville hospital with non-life threatning injuries.
Police also charged the driver, Hermes VALENTINE (31) with breach of recognizance, fail to comply with undertaking, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. VALENTINE was also charge with careless driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
The accused is to appear in Sundridge Court on Tuesday October 8, 2013.
