(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On April 20, 2014, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance behind a building on Main Street South, Mount Forest. The investigation revealed that a male became engaged in a verbal confrontation with a couple of individuals and threats were made to cause harm while brandishing a knife. He fled the area prior to police arrival. Police attempted to locate the individual but were unsuccessful. A few hours later, he arrived back to the scene and police re-attended making the arrest. No one was injured with this incident.
Gordon KOSTAL age 32 of Wellington North Township has been charge with Utter Threats and Assault with a Weapon, contrary to the Criminal Code. He was scheduled for a bail hearing on April 22, 2014.
