(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On February 21, 2014 at approximately 7:05 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an unwanted male party on a GO bus making threats to blow it up with a bomb.
Police arrived at the GO Station located on MacLean Road in Puslinch Twp., and observed that all the passengers had previously vacated and the suspect and the driver were still on the bus. The male was seen pacing back and forth while speaking with the driver. Officers moved passengers to the exterior of the Go station for safety purposes and the male was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital for a mental assessment.
No explosive device was located.
No one was injured.
