On Friday, April 10, 2015 The Renfrew County Crime Unit have charged 42 year old George PEARCE of NFA in conjunction with the May 10, 2013 robbery of the Northern Credit Union in Eganville.
PEARCE has been charged with
– Robbery with a weapon contrary to section 344(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Disguise with intent contrary to section 351(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Imitation Firearm – use while committing an offence contrary to section 85(2)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Uttering Threats to cause death or bodily harm (two counts) contrary to section 264.1(a) of the Criminal Code.
– Assault with a Weapon contrary to section 267(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Assault (two counts) contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Theft Under (two counts) contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Theft Over contrary to section 334(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Mischief Under contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Possession of Firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order (two counts) contrary to section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
PEARCE is scheduled to appear in Pembroke Court on April 20, 2015 for a bail hearing.
