(Ottawa, ON) -The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged a tow truck driver that attended the scene on Highway 417 eastbound near Eagleson Road.
On October 12, 2013, at approximately 8:37 am, a vehicle was stopped for stunt driving eastbound on Highway 417. As part of that investigation, a tow truck was called to the scene to remove the stunt driving vehicle.
Once the tow truck arrived, the investigation revealed that the driver had been drinking.
The male driver, 43 year old Gary HAMILTON of Stittsville, was charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle while over 80 mgs of November 26, 2013.
