(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 30 year old male after police stopped a motor vehicle at a King Street, Delhi, Ontario address.
On Saturday, August 22, 2015 at approximately 8:26 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of King Street and Queen Street when a vehicle caught the attention of the patrolling officer. The officer stopped and investigated the vehicle.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 30-year-old Franz WIEBE of Oxford County, Ontario with driving over the legal limit and stunt driving.
OPP are reminding all motorists that the minimum fine for Stunt Driving, if convicted is $2,000 and an automatic drivers licence suspension for 7 days.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe, Ontario at a later date to answer to the charges.
