(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On March 13th, 2014 at approximately 8:20 a.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving 2 vehicles on County Road #10 between Concession #9 and Concession #7 Sunnidale.
An OPP investigation with the assistance of Central Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Unit revealed that a southbound Pontiac operated by a 31 year old female crossed into the northbound lane striking a Chevrolet Pickup truck operated by a female from Wasaga Beach.
The Pickup truck operator from Wasaga Beach was taken to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital with minor injuries.
The operator of the Pontiac a 31 year old female from Collingwood is deceased.
The Identity of this individual is being held by Police pending notification of next of kin.
