(ALLISTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on 8th Avenue at Morrison Avenue in the Town of Alliston, New Tecumseth Township.
On Sunday June 21, 2015, at approximately 12:51AM, officers from the Nottawasaga OPP were attempting a traffic stop on 8th Avenue and Morrison Avenue. The driver failed to stop and a short distance later, the motor vehicle struck some concrete jersey barriers that were across Morrison Avenue.
The driver was transported to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
