(SOUTH FRONTENAC, ON) – On the 23rd of February 2014, a resident of the Melburn Road area (Battersea) contacted the Ontario Provincial Police for assistance, as they believed their dog had been shot at approximately 6:00 am.
Police attended and discovered that the complainant’s small Black/Beige Shih Tzu had suffered a fatal wound consistent with a gunshot. The investigation into this incident is on-going.
This incident took place on Melburn Road between Ormsbee Road and Ida Hill Road.
