(LONDON, ON) – On August 19, 2017, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol on Bradley Avenue, near Pond Mills Road.
The officer observed a speeding Ford pick-up truck and initiated a traffic stop.
The officer determined that the 28-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to an OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Dean C. LAWSON, of Ingersoll, ON, has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and Speeding, pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days and his Driver’s Licence has been suspended for 90 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on September 20, 2017.
