(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 19-year-old male after police investigated an incident at a Fairground Road, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, August 20, 2017 at approximately 9:26 p.m., OPP, Norfolk County Fire and Rescue Services and Paramedics responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a motor vehicle was travelling on Fairground Road when the driver lost control and left the roadway, rolling the vehicle.
The driver suffered minor injuries however a 17-year-old male passenger of Norfolk County, Ontario suffered serious non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 19-year-old Abraham GUENTHER of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving causing bodily harm, care or control over 80mgs and novice driver-blood alcohol concentration above zero.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
