(GRAVENHURST, ON) – Members of the Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment were conducting speed enforcement on Highway 11 South in Gravenhurst and as a result of those efforts, stopped a vehicle that was travelling southbound near Cox Road.
While conducting their investigation, police found two of the occupants to be in possession of a quantity of illegal drugs.
Police have charged 30 year-old Dexter CAESAR of North Bay with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) CDSA 5(2);
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (prescription pills) CDSA 5(2)
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Marijuana) CDSA 5(2) and
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime CC 354(1)(a)
Also charged is 56 year-old David BROWNING of North Bay with Possession of a Schedule II Substance Under 30g CDSA 4(1).
The accused parties will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on January 20th, 2016 to answer to their charges.
