(SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY, ON) – During the period of November 23rd to December 10th, 2015, officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted 72 R.I.D.E spot checks at various locations within the detachment area.
Charges and suspensions:
Eight Approved Screening Device Tests (Drivers who consumed alcohol but breath samples were less than 50 mgs)
Two – Three-Day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspensions
Two Impaired Operation/Over 80 mgs charges from the R.I.D.E. programs
On December 10, 2015, Joan Catherine Dezotti (age 52) from Tiny Township was been charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland, Ontario on December 24, 2015.
