(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On December 27, 2013, just after 6:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles on the westbound off ramp of the 401 Highway at Communication Road.
The collision occurred when a Buick vehicle traveling westbound on the off ramp struck the side of a Ford vehicle which was stopped at the stop sign on the westbound off ramp at Communication Road.
The driver of the Buick, 22 year old Ashley CAMPBELL, from Dover Centre, ON, has been charged with Start From Stopped Position – Not In Safety, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
No injuries were reported.
