(QUINTE WEST, ON) – Following a week long theft investigation, Quinte West OPP have arrested and charged a 27 year old Trenton man with theft under $5000 and failing to comply with his probation order. The theft was first reported to Police April 16, 2014. A Trenton area female noticed a number of television season box sets had been stolen from her residence with no signs of forced entry. The television seasons, which included seasons 4 and 5 of House and season 3 of Glee, were later located a local pawn shop. On April 22nd, 2014 at 10:30am the Quinte West OPP arrested David Flynn as he exited a business on Dundas Street East in Trenton. Flynn was released on a Promise to Appear with Undertaking and a court date of May 22nd, 2014. The victim was a known acquaintance of the accused. The accused has been charged with the following offences:
Theft under $5000, Criminal Code S.334(b)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order, Criminal Code S.733.1(1)
