(South Glengarry) – On March 02, 2014 at approximately 4:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a collision involving a snowmobile on County Road 2 near 4th line Road, South Glengarry Township.
A passenger, Alex Miller, 21 of South Glengarry suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
The 27yr old male driver was identified as Joseph James THOMPSON of Hogansburg, NY.
He faces charges of:
– Impaired Operation / Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle Cause Death
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle / Cause accident with Fatality
– Driving while Disqualified – Provincial Suspension etc.
He is scheduled to appear 02Apr2014 in Alexandria court.
SD&G OPP officers, assisted by Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) continue the investigation.
