(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a motorist with a drinking and driving offence early Saturday morning in Collingwood.
On the 15th of November 2014 shortly before 2:00am, an officer on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Ontario Street near Saint-Paul Street where it was found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The female motorist was subjected to a roadside breath test which resulted in a ‘fail’ reading and as a result, she was arrested and transported to detachment for processing.
Charged is 42 year-old Carmen GARFORTH of Collingwood, she is facing a charge of driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood and is to appear in Collingwood court on the 2nd of December 2014.
