(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 28, 2014 at approximately 7:36 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) initiated a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington Road 35 and Concession 4, Puslinch Township.
Officers spoke with the male driver of a Motorino electric scooter that was utilizing the motor. This vehicle can also be operated by pedalling and but was not being utilized when observed by police. An investigation revealed that the driver is not to operate a motor vehicle anywhere in Canada.
Brian KUENZIG age 55 of Guelph has been charged with Drive While Disqualified contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 21, 2014 to answer to the charge.
