(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 6:45 a.m. on Sunday the 26th of January 2014, Officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 28 in Carlow-Mayo Township. Officers attended the location and arrested the male driver for care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired.
24 year old Brent BURPEE of Enniskillen, Ontario has been charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired and care and control of a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. Mr. BURPEE was released from custody on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 25th of February 2014.
