(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON)- On Sunday January 26, 2014 at 7:06 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call from a concerned citizen of a possible impaired driver observed at a Komoka Gas Station. A short time later police located the suspect vehicle described as a Ford Ranger pick-up travelling northbound on Nairn Road. A traffic stop was completed at which time the officer confirmed that the driver had been drinking.
As a result of an investigation police have charged the driver Nikola RAJKOVIC, age 65 of Middlesex Centre TWP, ON with Fail or Refuse to Provide Sample 254(3) as per Section 254(5) of the Criminal Code. The accused was released from police custody by way of an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in a London Court room on March 6, 2014 to speak to the charges. The vehicle was impounded for a period of seven days.
