(CALEDON, ON)- On March 3rd, 2015 shortly before 7:30 am, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the theft of construction tools. Investigation revealed that sometime between 5 pm on March 1st and 6:30 am on March 3rd, two commercial trailers were broken into from a Coleraine Drive property. The suspect(s) broke the key locks to gain entry into the trailers. Once inside the trailers, the suspect(s) stole a laser level and tripod.
Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
