(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On March 6th, 2014 at approximately 2:15 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report that a male with a 2 dogs had entered onto the property of Minesing Central Public School in the Village of Minesing and approached a few students during afternoon recess.
A further OPP investigation revealed that this male had invited these students to pet his dogs and offered them food if they went with him. Fortunately these students did the right thing and quickly walked away from this male and reported it to a teacher, who contacted the school’s Principal who immediately called the Police.
Upon arrival Police did an extensive search of the area and canvased neighbouring homes with negative results.
This suspicious person is described as:
Male
White
Senior of age, possibly in his 70’s
Fair Complexion with freckles and noticeably red lips
Grey medium length wavy hair
Wearing a black coat, black pants and black boots
His dogs are described as:
One dog having grey curly hair
And a second larger dog with black curly hair
Both dogs possibly being “Poodlesâ€
And one of the above dogs were referred to as “Clover†by the above male
The Huronia West OPP are looking to locate and speak with this male to determine his purpose on school property.
