(NEW TECUMSETH ,ON) – Since the summer of 2013, the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have received numerous complaints of graffiti occurring in the downtown area of Alliston. The tags were as follows: “Bonosâ€Â, “Bonosone†“NTRâ€Â, and “CSWSâ€Â.
In addition to the reported incidents, there have been a number of unreported occurrences that the OPP are hoping to identify the owners and further charges laid.
As a result of this lengthy and extensive investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a local residence where multiple items related to the crimes were located and seized.
The accused is identified as Liam O’Handley, age 24, of Alliston. He has been charged with 15 counts of mischief, as well as production and possession of marihuana. Also arrested and charged with production and possession of marihuana is Jordana Deveau, age 22, of Alliston, who has since been released.
