(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – Detectives from the Elfin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigations Unit have charged a 69-year-old man from the Township of Malahide with several sexual related offences. The charges relate to offences which are alleged to have occurred between 1961 and 1978 at several locations in Central Elgin.
Police have charged David Russel MCCALLUM, age 69 of Malahide Township with;
Adult Rape under the Criminal Code.
Adult Intercourse with a Female under 16 years of age under the Criminal Code.
Adult Indecent Assault of a Female under the Criminal Code.
Adult Common Assault under the Criminal Code.
MCCALLUM has been release on a Promise to Appear in St. Thomas Criminal Court on April 12th, 2016.
