(LAKESHORE, ON) – On October 21, 2016 at approximately 11:55 p.m., a Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police officer stopped a grey Ford observed driving erratically on Essex County Road 22 near Wallace Line, Lakeshore, Ontario.
Three occupants were subsequently arrested for possession of cannabis after a quantity was located in the vehicle and seized.
The driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and subsequently failed a roadside screening device test.
All three occupants of the vehicle have been charged with Possession of Cannabis under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Ontario.
The driver of the vehicle, a Lakeshore youth was also charged with Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams of alcohol.
The youths were released and will appear in a Windsor, Ontario court at a later date to answer to the charges.
