(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at approximately 12:23 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence on London Crescent in Elliot Lake in regards to a family dispute.
Police spoke with the complainant and through investigation a fourteen year old youth was arrested and charged with the following:
Assault as per s. 266 of the Criminal Code
Fail to Comply with an Undertaking as per s. 145(3) of the Criminal Code
Utter threats to Cause Bodily Harm as per s. 264.1(1) (a) of the Criminal Code
Mischief Under $5000.00 as per s. 430(4) of the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled for a Bail Hearing in Sault Ste Marie on June 25, 2015,
The name of the youth will not be released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
