(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On April 11, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Angeline Street, South and Kent Street, West and determined that one of the involved drivers had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation William WATSON, 32 years of age, of Mariposa Township, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and with driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on May 1, 2014.
