(ST.MARYS, ON) – On Friday May 22, 2015, a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol in St.Marys observed an intoxicated male at his pickup truck on Church St. He was arrested and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he failed two Intoxilyzer Breath Tests.
William HAYNES (67) of the Township of Perth South has been charged with, “care or control while impaired by alcohol”, and “care or control over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood”, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He has a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on June 15, 2015, where he will have to answer to the charges. His vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
