(TOWN OF MT. FOREST, ON) – On Saturday December 1, 2012 at approximately 11:20 pm officers from the County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on routine patrol when they observed a male walking on King Street East in the Town of Mt. Forest. Police recognized the male and knew that he was bound by a court order with a condition to obey a curfew. Police spoke to the male and upon further investigation police located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
William Burleigh aged 37 of Wellington North Twp has been charged with Breach of Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code and Possession of Methamphetamines contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Bail court to answer to the charges.
