(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 34 year old male with two provincial charges following a traffic stop at a River Road, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Wednesday February 17th, 2016 at approximately 1:05 am, members of the Haldimand County OPP stopped a snowmobile on River Road.
As a result of the investigation the driver of the snowmobile identified as 34 year old Wesley MERRITT of Haldimand County, ON has been charged with drive motorized snow vehicle while licence suspended, and drive motorized snow vehicle on prohibited highway. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
