(ORILLIA, ON) – Over the weekend, the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 155 calls for service. Police responded to calls received from Severn Township, Ramara Township, and the City of Orillia. The time frame is from Friday night at 6:00 p.m. until Monday morning at 6:00 a.m.
There were various calls for service consisting of noise complaints, alarms, 911 hang-ups, domestic/family disputes, Liquor Licence Act complaints, mischief complaints, motor vehicle collisions and impaired drivers.
On May 28, 2016 at approximately 01:41 a.m., officers from the Orillia OPP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 12 in Ramara Township. After further investigation the driver was arrested after failing a roadside breath test.
Kellie KEDDIE, 46 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol. She was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on June 14, 2016.
