(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a double fatal motor vehicle collision, which occurred at approximately 10:48 p.m. on May 27, 2016.
Two red Honda off-road motorcycles were travelling in opposite directions on Twelve Mile Road, between Vanneck Road and Denfield Road, when they collided. The vehicles were not equipped with headlights. The operators were not wearing helmets.
The drivers, and lone occupants, were both ejected, and each suffered fatal injuries.
19-year-old Austin NEWMAN, from Middlesex Centre, Ontario, and 22-year-old Cody NOBLE, from London, Ontario, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision investigators (TTCI) attend the scene to assist with the investigation.
Twelve Mile Road, between Vanneck Road and Denfield Road was closed for approximately 6 hours.
