(ORILLIA, ON) – On September 12, 2014 at approximately 7:05 a.m. members of the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit, in conjunction with the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit, Community Drug Action Team, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and members of the Orillia OPP executed a warrant at an address on Port Severn Road in Severn Township.
During the execution of the warrant, 20 marihuana plants were seized along with a quantity of cash and dried marihuana.
Murray LEDUC, 50 years old of Severn Township, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Joseph LEDUC, 34 years old of Georgian Bay Township, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Justin LEDUC, 27 years old of Severn Township, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Jana PARKER, 40 years old of Midland, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
All parties were released with their own Promise to Appear and will be in Orillia court on October 28, 2014.
