(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 17 year old female after investigating a motor vehicle collision at a Hwy #56, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday September 14th, 2014 at approximately 4:20 am Police were called to the Hwy #56 address where a grey 2003 GMC SUV had been involved in a single motor vehicle collision.
While investigating the collision and speaking with the female driver, Police detected signs of impairment by alcohol which resulted in her arrest.
Haldimand County Fire Department and Haldimand County paramedics were also on scene and provided emergency medical aid to three of the vehicle passengers. One 16 year old Haldimand County, ON female sustained non – life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
Charged with Impaired Driving, Novice Driver with Blood Alcohol above Zero and Class 2 licence holder with excess passengers is a 17 year old Haldimand County, ON female. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
