Walkerton Centennial Pool

Have you heard? The Walkerton Centennial Park Swimming Pool is open and ready to make a splash! The heated outdoor pool has so much to offer so that everyone in the family is happy! The facility has Toonie Tuesdays every Tuesday, so you can enjoy public swim for only two dollars. Even better, there is a Tim Hortons Free Swim on July 16th, July 31st, and August 28th, and everyone is invited! Aqua Fit classes are now Monday and Thursday from 8:30 to 9:15pm, so you can start off your week right, with Brooke Waugh leading Monday night classes. Also, the junior lifeguard club is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and is a great way for any pre-teen to get a head start on their training.

As if there isn’t enough fun at the Centennial Pool, you can book your birthday parties and special events at the pool! If you book a pool rental for up to 25 persons and get the pavilion for free. The pool itself has so much to offer on its own, with a 1 meter diving board and a 3 meter diving board, along with a kiddie slide for kids aged 6 and under. For those who want to watch the fun, there are sun shaded bleachers to protect you from the UV rays and keep you comfortable. There is so much to see and do at the Centennial Pool, and with the helpful assistance of all the staff, you will always leave with a smile on your face.
