(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 20, 2014 at approximately 1:36 a.m. while on general patrol, Oxford County OPP initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling Northbound on 17th Line in Zorra Township.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 43 year old Vladimir BERTO of Ingersoll under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Drive While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle
Care or Control over 80 milligrams
Drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor (Liquor Licence Act)
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30 grams (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on January 23, 2015.
