60 Year Old Caught Rolling A Joint On Queen Street

(TOWN OF FERGUS, ON) – On December 19, 2014 at approximately 6:40 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a pick-up truck that was parked on Queen Street in the Town of Fergus. The vehicle was running with the rear lights on and the window rolled down.

Officers approached the driver’s side and observed a female sitting in the driver’s seat using rolling papers with a brown leafy substance believed to be marihuana. The female was placed under arrest and taken into custody. Police conducted a search and seized a ziplock bag containing bud marihuana as well as drug paraphernalia.

Paquita GRIFFITHS age 60 from the Town of Erin has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 20, 2015 to answer to the charge.
