(TINY TOWNSHIP) – On Friday April 7, 2017 at approximately 3:36 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of an impaired driver from a concerned citizen. The citizen called police after a female exhibiting signs of impairment left a business establishment in Waubaushene in a motor vehicle.
Police located the vehicle a short time later and determined that the female driver had been consuming alcohol. The female driver Vickie Lynn MCMASTER (age 53) of Waubaushene, Tay Township, Ontario was arrested for impaired driving and has been charged with:
Driving While Ability Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 20, 2017 in Midland, Ontario.
