(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On April 9, 2017, at approximately 3:25 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Market Street.
Officers determined that the 73-year-old female driver of the red Buick sport utility vehicle (SUV) had been drinking alcohol. She was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Donna SHIPLEY, from Lucan Biddulph, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and fail or refuse to provide sample 254(3), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on May 11, 2017.
