(LUCAN-BIDDULPH, ON)- On Friday September 20, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 4 near McGillivray Drive, Lucan-Biddulph for a traffic related offence. At the time of the stop the officer learned that the Ontario licence plates were not registered to the vehicle and the driver’s licence was currently under suspension.
As a result police have charged Hesham AKKILA, age 54 of London, ON with:
Driving while Under Suspension as per Section 53 of the HTA
Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit – 7(1)(a) HTA
Use plate not authorized for vehicle – 12(1)(d) HTA
The driver was issued a Part III Summons and is scheduled to appear in a London Provincial Offences Court room at a later date to speak to the charges. The licence plates were seized and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
