A white coloured pickup truck was travelling northbound on Cockshutt Road and was pulling a grain trailer, when the tarp covering came off. The tarping and metal housing then struck the vehicle at which time a metal pole entered through the driver’s side front windshield and continued through the vehicle, stopping at the rear hatch.

“Officers that attended the scene were amazed that there were no injuries associated to this collision. This had the potential to cause serious life threatening injures or a fatality.” – Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
