(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On Wednesday, April 14, 2016 at approximately 1:32 am, an officer from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped the driver of a Volkswagen Jetta on Dawson Road for a traffic violation.
The officer spoke with the driver and determined the driver had consumed alcohol.
The driver was transported to detachment for further tests.
Reshelle VALLEY, 28 years of age, from Thunder Bay was arrested and charged with Operate a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code.
She was also charged with the following Highway Traffic Act Offences:
-Drive Motor Vehicle – Speeding
-Drive Motor Vehicle – No Currently Validated Permit, as well as,
-Drive Motor Vehicle – No Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
She is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on May 27, 2016 to answer to the charge.
