Mischief
Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment investigated two complaints of mischief. They are:
• On the 31st of July a report was filed in which a residence on Poirier St. had eggs thrown at it. P/C Scott Wood is the investigating officer.
• On the 3rd of August a report was filed in which a vehicle was reported damaged on Trafalgar Road in the City of Pembroke. The investigation is continuing.

Dispute
On the 31st of July police were advised of a dispute in the Wal-Mart parking lot off Pembroke St. East in Laurentian Valley Twp. As a result 30 year old Dominic Dubeau of Campbell’s Bay Quebec has been charged with the following offences:
• Assault contrary to the Criminal Code
• Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code
• 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code
• Possession of a Schedule II substance-Cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
• Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Other Drugs contrary to the Controlled Substances Act
• Traffic Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana under 3 kilograms contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
• Traffic in Schedule I substance – Other Drugs contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
P/C Mike Mahon was the investigating officer.
Traffic Stop
On the 1st of August while on patrol Sgt. Sabourin stopped a vehicle on Hwy 17 in the Town of Laurentian Hills. As a result 18 year old Patrick Bruzas of Deep River was charged with Possession of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and 19 year old Brandon Milks of North Bay was charged with Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge contrary to the Criminal Code.
Domestics
Between the 31st of July and the 2nd of August, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment investigated 9 domestic disputes. As a result the following charges were laid:
• One adult male was charged with Criminal Harassment – beset and watch complainant and Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code
• One adult male was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code
Sexual Assault
On the 3rd of August police were advised of a dispute on Civic Centre Road in the Town of Petawawa. As a result one male young person has been charged with Sexual Assault on a Person under 16 years of age and 3 counts of Fail to Comply with Sentence contrary to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Impaired Driving
On the 3rd of August an ATV was observed on Lapasse Road in the Twp. of Whitewater Region. As a result of the traffic stop, 30 year old Ryan Taylor of the Twp. of Whitewater Region has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
