(EMO, ON.) – On Saturday September 7, 2013 at approximately 8:00 pm, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted an investigation into the death at the Emo Speedway.
William G. REIMER, age 67 years of Vermillian Bay, ON was pronounced dead after his race vehicle left the travelled portion of the raceway.
A post mortem was conducted at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital on September 9, 2013. Police can confirm that the death was due to natural causes.
