(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) On September 6, 2013, the Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of individuals responsible for selling controlled substances from a residence in Sioux Lookout.
As result of police investigation the Sioux Lookout Crime Unit and detachment members executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at an apartment on Third Avenue in Sioux Lookout, ON.
Dorothy Linda OOMBASH, age 31 years of Sioux Lookout and Melony Dawn NECAN, age 29 years from Winnipeg MB were arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I drug (cocaine). Both females were also charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime after police seized $4870 cash.
Both women were released from police custody and are scheduled to appear in Sioux Lookout Provincial Court on October 29, 2013.
