(Oro-Medonte, ON) – Barrie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI) continues their investigation into a two vehicle motor vehicle collision that shut down Simcoe County Road 11 (Old Barrie Rd E) for several hours this morning. The car was traveling eastbound on Simcoe County Road 11 and collided with a tractor trailer traveling westbound, as a result of the collision the male driver of the car age 22 of Oro-Medonte Twp was deceased at the scene.
Simcoe County Road 11(Old Barrie Road East) between Oro-Medonte Line 12 and Line 13 North has now been reopened.
