(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – OPP is advising that one person received minor injuries and has been taken to hospital for minor non-life threatening injuries and being held for observation. The vehicles involved were all tractor trailers. Eastbound 401 remains closed until further notice.
NEW INFORMATION: Northumberland OPP are now on scene of a single vehicle rollover on the westbound 401 west of County Road 30 north of Brighton that occurred at approximately 7:00 am. One person being treated on scene by ambulance at this time.
A parked tractor trailer on the on ramp of west bound 401 at County Road 25 north of Colborne was struck by a snow plow as it passed at approximately 7:00 am as well. OPP are attending to investigate and no injuries reported there. Westbound lanes continue to remain open at this time.
